anniversary and the 45th show since last July.
by Inhouse Talent and hosted by
Revolutionary Poet Sellassie, WE ALL WE GOT is an
independent artist showcase designed to expose interesting and determined
emerging artists, cultivate relationships, and build community. The series is
creating a movement where upcoming artists can gain exposure and experience and
perform alongside legendary artists. WE ALL WE GOT is a place to discover some new
music you just might like and mightn’t hear elsewhere.

Rappin’ 4-Tay made his debut on the Too Short
album Life Is…Too Short, right
after high school and released his debut album Rappin’
4-Tay Is Back
in 1991, with a follow up in 1994; Don’t Fight the Feelin’,
which included the hits “Playaz Club” (which sampled the song
“Private Number” by William Bell and Judy Clay and hit #36 on the Billboard Hot
), the “Dank Season” featuring Seff Tha Gaffla
and “I’ll Be Around” (which hit #39 on the Billboard Hot 100).
Rappin’ 4-Tay’s success continued
as he was featured in 2Pac‘s
All Eyez on Me
album on the track “Only God Can Judge Me
in 1996 and Master P‘s
West Coast Bad Boyz II
compilation in 1997. 4-Tay was
also an original member of Bay Area supergroup T.W.D.Y. in 1999. In 2003 Rappin’ 4-Tay released the album Gangsta Gumbo with the single “Burning, Burning”,
followed up by the album That’s What You
in 2007. He continues to perform, record and tour.

Sellassie is shining as a leading
progressive voice in S.F. Bay Hip Hop. With an acclaimed debut release, I’m Tryin’ to Make a
Livin’ Not a Killin’,
and a new follow-up album, Sins
of Your Forefathers
, he is carving his niche in Hip
Hop. Although inspired and motivated from reading hundreds of books, Sellassie is self-taught and came up on the
streets. Sellassie’s
lyric is rooted in a deep comprehension of the world around him. He
writes on domestic and world politics, international relations and community
needs, corporate thuggery and the obstacles independent artists face. He
has seen first hand the problems that his music addresses. He has seen black on
black crime, he has lost many close friends to homicide, he has seen the drugs
and money destroy his community, he has witnessed the decay of Independent Bay
Hip Hop. In addition to the new record, Sellassie
is building this revolutionary show series WE ALL WE GOT, is working
with many social, political and youth based initiatives, and is a contributor
to various special projects including Emcees
for Peace’s The Matter That Matters CD and the West Coast Hip Hop Awards 2010.

Proudly Sponsored by KPFA’s Hard Knock
Radio, Fusicology, KALX Raps, KPOO’s Ghetto Gumbo and the Hip Hop

When can I come to see and buy? How much is a shovelface? A dangling shovelface?

I met your faces at Carol’s Art House and Garden sanctuary, 1282 La playa.
